WHO? Little Miss Press was founded by Bianca Mascorro and was spawned from an obsession with beautiful paper items and unique design. Bianca often prints her own drawings and hand-lettered works on her antique letterpress, finding delight in giving her clients that "ME, MINE" feeling. She feels that the union of hand-drawn work and the oldest form of printing is a beautiful thing and also enjoys bringing modern graphic design to life with letterpress printing. Needless to say, she loves pencils, paper, pixels and cast-iron.
NICE TO MEET YOU We happily address the fine printing needs of all clientele. Our capabilities apply to personal and business needs and include wedding stationery, personal calling cards, business cards, corporate event stationery and other custom design and print work.
CALLIGRAPHED WORKS Bianca's calligraphy work currently graces the walls of many homes in the form of framed calligraphed wedding vows, poems and other special documents. These pieces are priced based on estimated hourly work at a rate of $60 per hour. For a price estimate, please submit your document via email.
PRICING
You may view our rate sheet by clicking the link below. Calligraphed elements may be added to any invitation suite for $60 each, with hand-drawn elements and monograms priced per-hour.
Business cards can be ordered with a minimum quantity of 150. One-color printing starts at $355 and two-color printing starts at $420.
We will gladly and promptly provide you with an estimate upon request; please call us or email us with your specifications and we'll have a quote to you shortly after.
PROCESS
HERE'S HOW IT GOES. USUALLY.
I. Call us or email us and we'll chat a bit about what you need (pieces, quantity, special artwork). We'll get back to you with a price estimate. Because we encourage unique designs for each individual, we do not provide online ordering. Custom design work is included in the pricing, but hand-lettering and illustration is not. See pricing (above) for more details.
II. Upon receipt of a signed proposal and deposit from you, we'll put together layouts and send you digital proofs.
III. Review your proofs and either submit your corrections or your approval. Once approved and the balance is paid, it prints! However, errors discovered after printing are the client's responsibility, so be sure to review all details and spelling very carefully.
CALLIGRAPHY PROCESS Turnaround time on calligraphy projects is typically two weeks minimum. Please get in touch early to reserve a spot on the calendar. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. If you are ordering your invitations through another stationer, have them provide no less than 10% additional envelopes, preferably 15%. We've made some people very happy, it seems, and have received some pretty terrific fan mail. Many brides have also been so kind to send us their wedding photos so we can check out our creations 'in action' or simply because they want to share their big day with us- we love that!
